Daphne Wright to join Jasmine Awards Judging Panel

We are thrilled that Daphne Wright will be joining our Jasmine Awards Judging Panel!

Daphne worked as an award-winning editor in publishing for eight years, before leaving to write. Since then she has published thirty-three novels, feature articles, short stories and reviews under her own name and her crime-writing pseudonyms of Natasha Cooper and N J Cooper. 

Her reviews have appeared in The Times, the TLS, the Toronto Globe & Mail, and www.bookoxygen.com She has contributed to various Radio 4 programmes such as Front Row, Saturday Review and Woman's Hour, and many literary festivals. She has been a judge of the Betty Trask award, the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger, and the HWA first novel award. She has experience in both teaching and mentoring younger writers.

She divides her time between London and the Somerset Levels, where her garden is full of intoxicatingly scented flowers and shrubs.
