Clive Christian to receive OBE
For Services To The Luxury Goods Industry

At the pinnacle of the luxury perfume world since 1999, Clive Christian, creator of No. 1 ‘The World’s Most Expensive Perfume’, has been granted an OBE in Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s New Year’s Honours List in recognition for his services to the Luxury Goods Industry.
Clive Christian’s vision of luxury perfume was ground breaking in that he drew no reference to cost in the creation of his perfumes culminating in the release of the Definitive Collection headlined by No1, recognised by Guinness World Records as ‘The World’s Most Expensive Perfume’, which, in its ultimate presentation – No.1 Imperial Majesty – was valued at £115,000.
Clive has said of his honour: “Since the establishment of my company I have designed and created luxury goods with a view to becoming a generic for British Luxury. To be acknowledged by Her Majesty in her Diamond Jubilee Year is a great honour of which I and all of Clive Christian are tremendously proud.”
