FiFi UK Fragrance Awards 2010
The biggest happening in the fragrance industry's international calendar is the Fragrance Foundation's annual FiFi Fragrance Awards in New York. Like Hollywood's Oscar ceremony, it is a star-studded occasion with more than 2000 participants. The UK will hold its own glittering FiFi Fragrance Awards Gala Dinner at London's Royal Opera House on 12th April 2010, in aid of Look Good... Feel Better.
The FiFi UK Fragrance Awards honour the 'best of the best' in the sensory world of fragrance. Awards include 'Best Packaging', 'Best Advertising', 'Best Fragrance in Limited Distribution', 'People's Choice' and 'Best New Prestige Men's and Women's Fragrance Launches'. Finalists in the Prestige Fragrance category are selected through the UK fragrance industry's official balloting procedures involving retailers, the media, manufacturers and their fragrance and packaging suppliers.
The countdown to this year's FiFi Awards has begun. With a new theme, new format and new venue, this is going to be our best ever! The new FiFi Committee, which includes representatives from fragrance creators, manufacturers, retailers and the media, have exciting plans for the night and also to showcase all the winners in major retailers after the event.
Entries are now being accepted for the 2010 FiFi UK Fragrance Awards, organised by Fragrance Foundation UK, which will be held at the Royal Opera House on Monday 12th April 2010.
To qualify for the 2010 Awards, fragrances will have been launched in the UK from the 1st January to the 31st December 2009. Awards will be given in the following categories:
- Fragrance of the Decade, sponsored by The Perfume Shop
- Best New Fragrance Print Advertisements, sponsored by Shortlist Media
- Best New Fragrance Commercial
- Best New Fragrance Packaging
- House of Fraser 'People's Choice' Award
- Men’s Health Readers’ Award
- Best New Niche Fragrance, supported by basenotes.net
- Best Fragrance Innovation
- Best New Fragrance in Limited Distribution
- Best New Prestige Male Fragrance
- Best New Prestige Female Fragrance
